WWC Super Estrellas de la Lucha Libre 5/11/2019

The show starts up with Eddie Primo Colon approaching WWC's Universal Champion Gilbert on the bacstage area. Colon, goes on to challenge him for the title at nex week big event Honor vs Traicion. He also states that there will big changes coming for the company and that Gilbert and his heel faction El Nuevo Sindicato need to be on the lookout.

This is follow by a video where former WWC Universal Champion Mighty Ursus makes his comeback to the company after a very brief stay with WWL. It is then announced thet Ursus will be facing Orlando Epico Colon next week at Hinor Vs Traicion.

The first match is Guevara vs Zion RT1

The match starts up by both brawlers fighting on the outside once Zion takes Guevara to the ring he takes control of the match with some heel tactics. After some slow offense by Guevara, Guevara makes his comeback by first executing a spear but this is stop by Guevara with a thimb to the eye once he has RT1 on the mat he goes up to the second rope trying to hit a flying move but gets caught by Zion with a cutter in the middle of the air this end the match with a w for Zion. WINNER BY PINFALL ZION RT1.

OPINION- Very slow old school puertorican match here with the heel working on the babayface with heel tactics and a lot of headlocks. In my opinion both wrestlers have more to give specially Guevara. Zion is a descent wrestler but his push for the TV Title I think is a bit of a surprise. 1.5 out 5 match.

2nd Match El Gran Armando vs El Gigante Nihan.

Like the first match this two start fighting on the outside but this one goes all the way to the fans getting a nice pop from them. Nihan handles Armando well even hitting him with a fan belt. Once they are back near the ring El Wizard, Armando's manager hits him from behind and this helps Armando getting on offense. He gets Nihan on the ring working on him with some power moves. Nihan, is place on the turnbuckles and Armindo hits him with a near low blow. After Armando starts playing the crowd he turns around to get hit with a nice powerful super kick for a near fall. After that Armando surprises Nihan with a spiking ddt and tries to cover him with his legs on the second rope but gets caught. He gets frustrated by this and gets his whip and starts beating Nihan up wich leads to a DQ. Armando and Wizard continue the beating for some a while and leave Nihan laying on the mat. WINNER BY DQ EL GIGANTE NIHAN.

OPINION- A short match but an entertaining one for this two big guys. The brawling on the croud was a nice touch and the puertorican fans are just awesome. Nihan, has some very nice capabilities the super kick looked great and conected with power nice feat for a 6'9 guy. Armando, is a veteran who works very well in this matches. 2.5 out of 5 match cause of the how short it was.

Main Event El Nuevo Sindicato Gilbert and Pedro Portillo III vs Xavant and Chicano

Chicano and Gilbert start up the match with Chicano getting the upper hand for a few minutes. Xavant, blinds tag himself in for a few minutes continuing with their tension. Chicano, blinds tags himsel in as well and but continues to argue with his partner wich leads to Gilbert to get back on track. He hits Chicano with some knees to the gut and tags in Portillo. Who takes control over chicano with some holds. Chicano, tags in Xavant but the ref does not see's the tag cause of some interference from Gilbert. Portillo, continues with his control of the match with another headlock for some minutes. Chicano elbows himself out of it hits him with a clothesline follow by a Michinoku Driver. After a few seconds on the mat both wrestlers make the tag. Xavant in for Chicano and Gilbert for Portillo.

El Gigante Nihan

Xavant takes control with a face to the mat take down follow by a clothesline on the turnbuckle and and a dead valley driver for a near fall broken by Portillo. Chicano gets on the ring a gets rid of Portillo while Gilbert throws Xavant to the outside. Gilbert, hits Chicano with a version of a rock bottom follow by a ddt and goes to cover him (even though he was not legal the ref counts don't ask me why) Xavant pulls the ref by his legs stoping the count. Gilbert, goes to argue with Xavant on the apron Chicano goes for a spear on Gilbert but hits Xavant. Xavant comes back to the ring tries to get control of Gilbert but gets push into Chicano. Gilbert, tries to take advantage of this but gets reversed into anothe dead valley driver and gets out of the ring. Portillos, gets back in and tries to clothesline Xavant but gets thrown into the turnbuckles follow by a Gut Buster by Xavant and a Super Man Punch by Chicano who covers him for the win. This happens with Chicano been in the ring for more than five minutes fighting without been the legal man and covering Portillo who also never tagged in but well it is what it is. WINNERS BY PINFALL CHICANO AND XAVANT. 2.5 OUT OF 5 match cuase of how sloppy it was run.

OPINION- It's almost certain than sooner rather than later Chicano and Xavant are going to feud with each other and they built that up pretty nice on the match. Chicano ven been the veteran looked good on his spots. He can wrestle any kind of match and has been one of the best in the island for years now. Xavant is a good character and had some so so spots. I would like to see him be the one who turns heel and goes back to his dark character. Gilbert is like Chicano is one of the best right now and has the greates ring psychology on the WWC Roster. This run as the Universal Champion has been a good one. In the case of Portillo he is way better than whta we saw wich was little to non. I would have like more offensive by their second biggest champion on the company. By the way one of the best on the mic to.

Last Segmen was this weeks Lo Que Esta Pasando en la WWC 'What's Happening on the WWC'.

It starts by them promoting the return of the women's division to the company with a match between Roxxy who has been voted the best female wrestler on the island and Raven Marie who is a young wrestler but has plenty of experienc on the independent circuits in the United States and Puerto Rico. They show Chicano and Xavant arguing in locker room wich was stop by Bellito Calderon. After that promos of Primo Colon and Gilbert are play hyping their Universal title match next Saturday. This is follow by Epico Colon with a promo for his match next week against Mighty Ursus which in my opinion was the best promo of the show.

Final Statement: It was an okay show but better than last week two shows. The first match was not as good as I thought it was going to be. The Nihan vs Armando was a good short hard hitting match with both of the wrestlers showing their abilities. Still amaze by Nihan super kick. The main event was so so for their standars. Kind of slow in parts of the match. In my opinion the should have give Portillo more ofense. Chicano and Gilbert looked good at what they do as always. Xavant like I said Im hoping he turns heel and back to his real gimmick.
